NuLeev CBD

The CBD market is exploding with sustained year over year growth across the U.S., and local brand NuLeev came to Spot with an eye on carving out their niche as a premium, high-quality product in the emerging space. With a wide range of CBD products tailored to specific needs, such as sleep, skin care and even pets, this upstart turned to Spot to help develop their brand.

Challenge

The crowded field of CBD brands has become tarnished by products with filler ingredients of questionable quality, diminishing consumer trust across the entire category. Armed only with their high-quality products but virtually no brand recognition, NuLeev sought to disrupt the negative perception trend with a high-end lifestyle CBD brand committed to enhancing health and wellness.

Solution

After conducting an audit of the competitive landscape, Spot went to work crafting a distinctive brand identity and voice for NuLeev to be used across traditional and digital channels. As part of this exercise, we helped them build an entire product hierarchy and set of packaging guidelines and designs for their many product formulations. For the flagship store launch, we designed a warm and inviting space that is immersive without being overwhelming. 

Results

Following the success of their first flagship store launch and ecommerce sales platform, NuLeev has gone on to open an additional store in the upper Midwest and shows no signs of slowing down as their specialized CBD products are touted by local market athletes. The strength of their new brand has empowered their internal marketing team to continue extending their marketing efforts into new markets and platforms, driving sales and attracting foot and web traffic to their properties.
